FIRST RIDE (Film to be released in October 2025)

Five lifelong friends—Tae-jeong, Do-jin, Yeon-min, Geum-bok and Ok-Shim—who, after years of life getting in the way of their dream trip, finally embark on a long-overdue journey to Thailand, which devolves into unexpected chaos and hilariously absurd misadventures, forcing buried emotions to the surface. The film, directed by Nam Dae-joong, and features the friends on a spectacular, chaotic trip that becomes a journey for the ages.

THE PLOT

The film centers on five friends who have known each other since they were kids:

Tae-jeong (played by Kang Ha-neul): An elite man from a good family background who has a perfectionist personality.
Do-jin (played by Kim Young-kwang): Originally a basketball player, he discovers a new life goal through his friend Yeon-min.
Yeon-min (played by Cha Eun-woo): He dreams of becoming a DJ who performs at world music festivals, despite currently being a homebody
Geum-bok (played by Kang Young-seok): He turned to religion at a young age.
Ok-shim (played by Han San-Hwa): A determined go getter and a lovable one, who always achieves her goals

After putting their travel dreams on hold for years, the group decides to finally take their first overseas trip together for their 30th Birthday. However, what was planned as a carefree and simple getaway quickly devolves into a series of chaotic and absurd misadventures.

The trip forces the friends to confront long-buried emotions as they stumble through various predicaments. The unexpected events and hilarious detours transform their "first ride" into a grand adventure.
